Lalitha Sahsra Namam 3 Learning Basics

I had initially great struggle in learning Lalitha Sahra Namam. When first I got it was in excel sheet with meaning. The Sanskrit words where so hard I tried to learn the whole thing at once which was one of the mistake made and I quitted several times. As Rome was not built in one day I started first playing audio in my car or used headphones and listened whenever I get chance to. And took 4 lines per day all together its 183 lines. Some may find it very easy who knows Sanskrit. And most of Indians its quite easy.  

Don't ever go for the benefits blindly. Do it without expectation. As the grace will come without stress and need. Then you will think then what is the purpose. Do it regularly and selflessly to  see the gradual development. Sometimes you never realize the change happening only people around you may notice the divine grace.  You may witness miracles but again don get stuck cause it will be like snake and ladder game where you again go back or some times quit the game as you may never come across ladder only snakes welcome you. 

Slowly gradually take your own time to evolve. You may come across lots of people who will come to help you. Your thinking patterns will change, there will paradigm shift. Devi with her 640 million ( 64 crores) yoginis will be helping and guiding us to a new realm. Sri Yantra or Sri Chakra or its 3-dimensional figure Mahameru which has been always a mystery for me could be decoded to some extent after learning and by her grace, you can learn everything. I dont want write my experiences as mind may restrict the possibilities of different outcomes and advanced feeling. In this path you never know what gifts and surprises you have ahead.

You can involve your partner and other family members and do a group chanting.What I have seen initially all your Karmic residues get churned and will make your life tough and will settle with time based on your prarabdh karama or previous life deeds. Once again one to one it will differ so dont consider or read others experience cause Devi has unique package for you
Do respect all feminine aspects, whether its person or animal when you do the chanting and hereafter.
This is the basic way to  start with. Let Devi enlighten you and shower her grace to all.  Once you are on track Devi herself will get you guides and guidance.  I believe  mother will not delay  to shower her devine grace to you all in one or the other way.

Lord Hayagreeva is an incarnation of Lord Vishnu with the head of a horse and a human body of brilliant white colour, worshipped as "Jnanaswaroopa”, embodiment of all spiritual growth,knowledge and wisdom. Mahanavami of Navarathri and Sravan-Pournami are considered special days for the worship this deity. This year Navarathri - 29th Sept to 8th Oct 2019.

Our sages and seers are supposed to have derived their spiritual insights and extraordinary powers by the grace of Lord Hayagreeva. Lalitha sahasranama ,the thousand names of Mother Lalithambika is considered to have been taught by Him to Agasthya rishi. Pleased with his austerities, Lord Vishnu appeared before him in the form of Hayagriva. Agasthya asked for a boon that he may be told a way to liberate the people from ignorance and their sensory delusions.

Hayagriva tells Agasthya the story of the incarnation of Lalitha Maha Thripura Sundari and describes her sports. He then describes the city of Sripura, Her abode, the greatness of Her Mantra, the panchadasakshari, the essential oneness of Sri Yantra, Sri Vidya, Lalitambika and Sri Guru, and initiates Agastya into the Sahasranamas of Devi’s attendant deities. Though he described every thing so far, Hayagriva did not mention any thing about Lalitha Sahasranama. On repeated questioning of the anxious student, Agastya maharishi, Hayagriva first explains the reasons why Lalitha Sahasranama is so divine and sacred, and why it can be imparted only to the highly potent and exalted and that the reasons why it was not imparted in the first place.

This hymn was composed by Vasini and Vak Devatas -the other deities of speech, for the good of the world, according to Lalithambika’s wish. Devi said, “ Chant this hymn to obtain my favour. Those who chant it are dearest to Me. I will grant all their wishes.”

Lalitha Sahasranama is the Powerful Remedy to Cure all sort of problems in our Life and will give Bliss to the Devotee,who is regularly chanting. The benefits are endless by listing it will restrict the magnamanousity but to create a threshold energy I take the liberty to list some of them.

Please Chant atleast twice in a Week,Particularly on Friday/Tuesday. And on full moon day.

By Keeping one hand on the Fore head of a Sick Person,and if We chant “Lalitha Sahasranama” with Sincere and True hearted devotion, that sick Person, will be Alright.

5] It is said that if one chants religiously Sree Lalitha Sahasra Namam keeping a glass of water (or in a vessel) in front and then pours it over the head, all sorts of troubles related to once planetary positions and from evil spirits will be warded off.

6] It is said that if a person chants Sree Lalitha Sahasranama keeping in mind a picture of Sree Lalitha Devi situated in the divine ocean which contains `Amrut’ , he will be cured from any kind of disease related to poison.

7] It is said that if a person consumes ghee, which is kept while chanting Sree Lalitha Sahasra namam, he will be cured of impotency and will have children.

8]Regular chanting of Sree Lalitha Sahasra namam will ward off any kind of evil deeds or rituals (black magic) aimed at the person who chants the namam. This is the reason why the ancient Gurus would instruct their desciples to chant Sree Lalitha Sahasra namam even after initiating them into the mantras of other deities such as Lord Krishna, Lord Rama and other Gods and Goddesses.

16] It is also to be noted that by religiously chanting Sree Lalitha Sahasra namavali, we are seeking the blessings of Sree Lalithambika, who is also called Kalima, Durga ma, Devi, Parasakthi, Bhagavathi etc, who in turns is the universal mother. And how can a mother ignore her children when they are in distress or duress or troubles of any sorts? So keep utmost faith in her and start chanting.

17] If we contiously chant 30 days you will have Vak siddhi where Saraswathi Devi will reside on your tongue. And if you continue for 180 days Goddess of Wealth & prosperity Sri Lakshmi Devi will recide in your house.

18] Each one of the namam by itself is a powerful weapon for many sorts of day-to-day problems.

Lalitha Sahasranamam can be chanted in many different ways. In Stotram form, all 1,000 namams are separated into stotrams of a few namams each and recited in this way. In mantra form, each namam is said individually, preceded by “Aum” and followed by “Namah”. When chanted in mantra form, the endings of each namam are generally changed to “e” or “yai”. Mantra form is commonly used to recite Lalitha Sahasranamam during archana. In the homam form, homam is conducted by ending each namam with Swaha: Homam is the most powerful form of offering and considered as the most revered solution for all problems of the man kind.

If we can do archana of the thousand names of the Divine Mother daily with devotion, we will grow spiritually. There will never be lack of life’s essentials, food and clothing, in a family that chants the Lalita Sahasranama with devotion.”

I had received Agasthya mantram in 1999 of which I had no idea and chanted for quite long antd still chanting. One of motherly friend Sheefechi had introduced me Lalitha Sahsra namam long back in 2006 at that time it looked very weird and had thought this was only for girls. But later over period Agasthya connection proved that mother comes in different ways to continue what was started in previous birth and reveals Srividya. Thanks to mothers and all feminine powers granting me an opportunity to learn and explore everyday and learning never ends. Without respecting and praying female entities you cannot move your life and my effort to do so has been challenging. These forms comes in different ways to teach you the subtle aspects of Karma. Wife will be the combination all, so the goddess has to be worshipped and taken care of which my ego took lot of time and sometimes still get off track. I can escape just saying thats how maya works.

It was not easyy for me to start chant Lalitha Sahsra Nama. I used to read and stop after a few lines. This went on for quite long  until 2014. I read about Agasthya was initiated by Hygriva and gave the details of Lalitha Saahsra Nama. Also I read the phala sruthi - benefits. I came to know Sri Chakra or Sri Yantra has been mentioned in this which I was hunting since my very childhood when I got it from a American settled Indian Author Book who used to do tratak ( eye gazing ) to improve brain power. I slowly started to listen to Audio along with reading. It took me ontly weeks time to go for complete reading which took around 30 minutes with audio from youtube. Once I started reading things changed I started to get Lalitha Sahsra Nama books as gift  which I distributed freely to my dear ones. This blog is not enough to write but my effort will be there to continue this.

After reading for one year. I met my Guru V. Ravi and got Bala Mantra Deeksha. Another turning point was getting connected with Umaji where Sreepada SreeVallabha took me to different level. Meeting Mohanji and listening to his podcast also had great quest to explore. And after reading for 2 years of Lalitha Sahsra Nama got chance to visit Mookambika where she gave darshan when I was chanting Lalitha Sahsra Nama  .I saw her in  Ajna Chakram which was the stepping stone where I realized what ever written in the Lalitha Sahsra Namam has to be studied deep and there is immense knowledge hidden those 183 lines and 1000 Names.

Sreepada incarnation of Lord Dattatreya went to Nepal and met Lord Hanuman at Chitrakoot Mountain. He requested Hanuman to take birth as Saibaba at Shirdi village (Dheeshila at that time) five centuries later and elevate the humans.

So the tale goes on we all are looking at the form which is external. Never have time to look internally. When you look internal your journey starts. You start to explore the beauty of things and realize whatever outside is your internal reflection so the work has to begin within. Surrender to your faith rest will be taken care of.  Its all about discipline and faith aligned together to reap the benefits of a painless journey. As faith fuels your thought to destiny. It can 33 crores which can converge to one or one to 33 crores it all depends on how our mind conceives. Sreepada says that you need not worship the 33Cr only one is enough.

 We have been from childhood brought certain things to happen in only certain ways and have built our belief system in the way based on our experience what others have told some in an emotional way or forced or some circumstantial involvement. It has been rigorous coding-decoding and memorizing. As said FAITH is your GOD.

So let me come to the story which I started. Chandurikkal had said to his wife to pour the fish water. ( The water which is left over after cleaning the cut fish and its parts)  at the place where the people had located the Nidhi. He just said so before the implication he had been paralyzed and within a few days his soul departed for the next journey. So the Karma takes you to different ride where the knowledge gained is the least matter. Thinking and analyzing what happened will be like pondering why Ravana abducted Sita knowingly he was going to be killed by Rama.

Last vacation when I went to this place, now its between relatives' houses. It was night,  me and my cousin went to the place at midnight to check the exact location. I prayed to him to show the location. I got the reply something from tree fell just before me making a small sound. I thanked him and moved as the fireworks from Andaloor Kavu could be heard and was quite late. So there some power spots ignored its not about the treasure rather his presence was there ignored quite generations. As we were coming back my cousin asked why dont you buy this property.  I was wondering this is how thoughts are read by people instantaneously. It was an elephant task to convince people and move four families from the location where they had been a quite long time. But not impossible if it is his wish.

Andaloor Kavu

After 10 years I was attending the festival at Andaloor Kavu a temple for Ram & Hanuman which is near to Thalassery,  Dharmadom Village. Its an island but connected with bridges and perfect roads. Its said in olden days until the festival finishes nobody goes out of the island. There is another power spot for Hanuman called Makereri which is also closer to this place which will be coming in my upcoming series of Hanuman Immortal which is built by Hanuman himself.  From my IT Business and routines of Dubai a short escape  to India and interesting thing was after 10  years . I was not able to attend the festival as it comes in February and my vaccations happen some where mid of the year.

I used to visit the temple in childhood days but as normal people I used to prostrate and ask for my material list and anxiously wait for execution through devine interference. But now things have changed the perception of parying has been modified through the spiritual journey and Agasthya Mantra has given definite direction which I have revealed in upcoming blog Agasthya Muni. Well Agasthya Nadi has taken me to Makreri Hanuman temple where his presence I have felt several times and vibrations at Andaloor temple has been never the less.

Even though my maternal relatives most of them are die hard communist and were not much interested in spirituality or religion.  Even todays top most ruling personality used to have food at our grand fathers house which was a political hub in those days. And most of them have taken Deeksha from top Gurus. I mean being communist you should be spiritual. Whenever I used to do pooja at our house, my mother used to say  nobody in our family has these traits. And I used to answer check  your lineage.

The story of Chandu Gurikkal unfolded, yes there was a personality with profound knowledge in Astrology, Vasthu, Thachushasthram (science of architecture), Arts & Drama and more. Today we say master of all trade. A Man of immense knowledge in all field but I never in my rarest dreams thought life would take a turn as in “Immortal talk by Shunya” its play of  Suras and Asuras never know when insanity can dominate your intellectual realm bring you down and end your glory or else would have been rise of eminent masters.

The Lines from Hanuman Chalisa always reminds me of Chandu Gurikkal where it mentions Hanuman has 8 Siddhies and guards 9 Niddhies( treasure). His end was very drastic and sudden which has bewildered me always. Hard to find out the possibilities how could a man think in such way as there were multiple ways to retain to have such a energy at your place. Have heard lot of stories people ruining their hard earned knowledge at stake of flimsy thoughts of possessing the material part. Lot of people fight for land or other material things even they know you cannot take a small pin after death to your realm. Khali haath aye hai khali haath jayenge (empty hand you came and will go back same ) in one sense. But you will take these Karmic impressions to your next life if you will not clear the whole baggage you gained throughout your journey to reach the source.

Lets begin the summarized story as heard from grandmother and other relatives . Chandu Gurikkal comes to know there is Nidhi in Kandyil Tharvad. In those days there were people who can find out things, which is unknown or is difficult to find through known sources. Mashi Nottam- Mashinottam, an important astrological experience in Kerala is now almost exhausted. This technique is rarely known to somebody and kept private to others. He brings in the team for Mashi Nottam to understand the nature of Nidhi and the possibilities of attaining it. One of his son my mothers uncle met the criteria for the subject who can read the Mashi and tell whats seen. I have seen Ramayana several times as movie, serials and in comics . In childhood itself, it was amazing to see a monkey god was capable of doing multiple things which was a combo pack of my comics Superman, spiderman and Phantom in my childhood days. Wow, a real Super Hero with multiple combination. But the story, in the end, had an emotional question why Ram leaves Sita after all these hardships. I always had that pain in mind why after all he was God then Why. Whenever I go to the temple I do pray but still, there was a gap why he did so. So reading Ramayana was also a bit struggle for me till 2019. Accidently happened to see a video clip of Annies Kitchen and the kid was explaining profoundly my why. I realized some knowledge comes to you very late or everything has its own time to ripen. Actually to pray and seek Hanuman's blessing you should be able to bring Ram in your heart. And I wondered why my prayers are not in the right path. Similarly, I was wondering how two Avatars of Vishnu appear together Sri Ram and Parshuram in Ramayana. And next beauty is Parshuram is going to teach next avathar of Vishnu Kalki bhagwan. This will be explained in my upcoming blogs well now focus is Chiranjeevi ( Eternal) Hanuman. He is here till Kalyuga which is the current yuga.

In this blog, I won't explain the story of Hanuman. In my life I had several opportunities of meeting spiritual Gurus who were not in the limelight or famous figure around with lot of eccentric chelas but couple big giants also. Once happened to read a blog of Mrs. Uma Shankar and tried to contact her. We spoke over Skype as she was in US, a Tamil housewife ardent Srividya Upasaka with Sreebala all around talking and giving her presence then and there. As Srividya beginner I was in Fairyland flooded with all life experiences of the devine goddess. She asked me Sudeesh which day were you born. I said, Tuesday. Next question was what is your star. Promptly I answered Chithra. Before her question, my curious mind was expecting this is taking a different turn. She said Sudeesh I have a book for you which you must read. She said I will try to arrange the English version of this book. One of her European friend had given a hint of this book. My thirst was for ages so I couldn't wait her to order the book from India and get it couriered it as she planned. I started hunting on my search engine as I said earlier it took seconds as that knowledge has to come at that moment and called her and said I got the book " Sreepad Sreevallabha Charithamrutham". I said this to one of my friend Biju, who rushed to me and took the usb to Burdubai printed the whole book. And made two copies, took directly to Burdubai Temple wrapped it in red cloth, gave it to the poojari for pooja. He gave me one copy and other he took it. I was wondering what's happening. As I saw the cover image I was familiar with the face. I took it home and read 53 chapters in one go.

In childhood, a Maharashtrian family use to stay near my house we use to call Ghandekar Vahini and Balu Kakka. They use to make me sit in the evenings and mornings while they prayed to Lord Dattatreya combination of Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva at the age of five. I used to also sit calmly and pray and have prasad. Those two souls were very pious and loving couple whom I liked very much. After settling in Kerala I really forgot this God as I never happened to see one, very late I found near Thalassery. Sreepada Srevallabha was the incarnation of Datta Prabhu. After reading the book I understood why Ummaji asked for my star and day. The book changed and cleared my lot of doubts and I started believing in religion and rituals. I felt really bad for not using the knowledge in hand and for others how they are blind with a rich heritage. After that, I have shared this book with the group of my Spiritual friends.

Well, this book mentions Sai Baba is the incarnation of Hanuman. Even he is Rudra amsha that is Shiva. Ultimately he will dissolve into the source. Everyone knows or might have happened to come across Thulsidas's Hanuman Chalisa. In north India, it is very popular. This is an amazing prayer that has shown wonders. This has caught the attention of world where today Neem Karoli Baba and Kainchidham are not unknown names. The eminent personalities like Steve Jobs and Mark Zuckerberg have their own tales to say. There are more unknown and known personalities who have reaped the benefits of this miracle prayer.

I have been to some of the powerful spots of Hanuman like Hanumana Gadhi in Ayodhya. Makreri near Thalassery and Andaloor Temple near Thalassery. Everywhere I went I had felt his presence. It's all individual experiences and true to their realm. I can list out benefits but it becomes limited. This is infinite, cause we have seen only the list and limited ourselves. Go beyond the limit and come out of your mental cage. This is your creation whatever you see around. My statutory warning don't go behind miracles and wonders in life just be an observer. Surrender to the divine power you believe and believe rest is taken care of. Hanuman gave a different dimension to devotion. Only single word RAM or Allah can enlighten you. Sabka malik ek hai. Your FAITH is your LORD.

Always it haunted me why my great great grandfather Chandu Gurikkal thought of getting Nidhi ( Treasure guarded by Hanuman at our Kandyil Tharvaad.  He was a genius in all aspects and was an expert at Astrology, Vasthu, Thachu Sashthram, Art & Drama list continues. A lot of Knowledge has taken the route, from Agastya after getting his mantra to only 5 persons who attended the Yagya. Agastya Nadi was read after Yagya and was surprised to hear that Agastya Muni has granted Mantra for participants who were connected in one or the other way to him. After chanting that Mantra things took different pace and fuelled my spiritual vehicle to traverse in different angles retaining my normal life. ...........to be continued
